To whom it may concern...
Jul. 30th, 2016 05:30 pm[The letter was left to sit on whatever surface AZ could write on in his room. With the way it's scrawled, but incredibly steady. There is no doubt that the handwriting belonged to the formerly tallest man in the building.]
If you are reading this, then it must mean that my request has been accepted. I have finally met my demise. Not of anyone else's hand like those deplorable trials we are forced into, but my own. If the Adjudicator will accept this request.
My dreams have darkened. A disaster has befallen my home of Kalos once again. And I must confess, it is my fault. A great device I created centuries ago has fallen into the wrong hands. Already it had brought great destruction by my will, and now it may very well do so again.
Perhaps it has already destroyed Kalos, and I could not remember.
[The rest continues lower down on the page.]
To some of you it may seem like the wrong choice, you are welcome to think so. I will not stop you but I can not bear to think of the alternative. Killing another innocent is simply not something I will bring myself to do. And with this weight upon my shoulders, what am I to do?
Do not let these deeds of an old man lead you astray. Find an escape from this place, but not by our Adjudicator's rules. Be wise about the course of action you take from this point onward.
Forgive me, Floette. If you have not already, then let my last deed speak for everything I have done.
[And that is where it ends.]
